This Hospital Education Center was completed in January of 2010. The training facility features 3 rooms that can be combined for larger engagements or separated for smaller education classes. A fourth room is set up for computer education and can also accommodate overflow for audio and video conferencing. Each room features 2 high definition camera’s for video conferencing and images are broadcast on 184” retracting projection screens via 6000 lumen projectors that also retract into the ceiling when they are not in use. Each room has a podium that acts as the control station for each room, complete with a touch panel controller for easy operation, pc for easy access to server files, a wolfvision high definition doc cam and an annotation/confidence monitor that accommodates highlighting or drawing over medical images to be seen at both the local monitor and on the projection screen. All sound for videoconferencing and the local trainers is supported by each of the rooms 12 in ceiling speakers and is broadcast by each rooms wireless handheld microphone, podium mounted microphone or by wireless tabletop microphones that allow the audience to engage the speaker on a videoconference call.
